A note from your charter specialist
I've been on board DAMA DE NOCHE more times than I can count, and she still surprises me. With space for 6 guests, she works equally well for a multi-generational family week or a tighter group of friends who want every cabin to feel like a suite. Happy to walk you through a week on board personally — there are a few details that don't make it onto any spec sheet.

Captain

Kirsty Sky Williams

Kirsty is a nature enthusiast who began sailing at a young age in her home on the west coast of South Africa. Under the wing of the Past Commodore, Naval ship captains and tugboat drivers she learned all about going to sea. She went offshore racing for the first time at the age of 16 and this further fueled her passion for the ocean. Kirsty is an experienced Master of Yachts Unlimited for vessels up to 200 gross tonnes, having completed all of her OOW and Chief mate 3000 modules makes safety a top priority onboard. Kirsty has now been sharing the magic of sailing with guests since 1999. Exploring oceans, islands and coast lines adding a touch of luxury, romance and adventure giving her the ability to create picturesque vacations for guests on oceans all around the world. She will read the weather and keep to calm anchorages for sleeping at night with a well-planned itinerary and stops along the way ensuring you get to see all there is on offer while relaxing on deck. Regardless of experience on the water, Kirsty enjoys showing those on board the ropes and is good at keeping everyone comfortable, pointing out wildlife along the way, show you how to paddle board or hand you a cocktail at the exact right moment!

Mate / Stew

Tyrone Smith

United Kingdom · English

Tyrone is an energetic young man from the east coast of South Africa, he will always greet you with a smile and is ready and eager to help with your every need. Whether it be a quick tender trip to land or a full day of water sports and adventure. From a young age Tyrone would spend every free moment on the ocean whether it be sailing, surfing or one last free-dive dive before dinner. Tyrone has 4 years sailing experience with a Yachtmaster offshore license and an advanced tender driving license. He started sailing regattas with his father around Cape Town in South Africa and honed his skills on board an oyster 625 with Kirsty. Tyrone’s passion and eagerness for sailing constantly shines through and Kirsty often says how lucky she is to have him as her crew. Kirsty and Tyrone have been a team since May 2019, they have a joy filled friendship which reverberates throughout the vessel there is a competition though which is based on who has caught the most fish and at the moment Kirsty is winning so Tyrone will definitely be doing his best to catch some fresh fish for the chef to prepare for dinner.
