Awards
2027
100 charter yachts. Five size classes. Your verified vote shapes the result.
Vote closes 14 January 2027 · Winners published 15 January 2027
A public ballot with an editorial spine.
The Blue Ocean Club Yacht Awards return with a 100-yacht longlist: 20 active charter yachts in each of the five established size classes. Every nominee links to a complete profile so voters can compare the yacht, not just the photograph.
The verified public vote contributes 40% of each category result. The remaining 60% follows the published editorial framework used to compare service, layout, amenities, design, capability and value within class. No live leaderboard is shown before the audit.

Public choice, verified. Editorial judgment, disclosed.
The public score is calculated only from confirmed ballots. The editorial score is completed independently before vote totals are opened, reducing the risk that popularity changes the professional assessment.
Verified public vote
40%One confirmed vote per email address in each class. Automated, duplicate and unverified ballots are excluded.
Charter experience and service
20%Crew depth, hospitality proposition, privacy, guest flow and suitability for a complete charter week.
Guest space and layout
15%Cabins, circulation, social zones, quiet zones and the connection between interior, deck and sea.
Amenities and water access
10%Wellness, beach clubs, pools, tenders, toys and how useful those features are in real charter conditions.
Design and condition
5%Build quality, refit recency, maintenance signal, design coherence and comfort.
Destination capability
5%Operating regions, stability, range, expedition systems and itinerary flexibility.
Value within class
5%The overall charter proposition relative to comparable yachts in the same size bracket.
Finalists and winners remain subject to identity, listing, charter status and factual-profile checks. Where two yachts finish on the same total score, the higher editorial score is the tie-breaker.
Put forward an eligible charter yacht.
Owners, captains and central agents may submit a yacht or provide updated material for a current nominee. The yacht must be actively offered for crewed charter, measure at least 20 metres and have verifiable specifications, professional imagery and an authorised representative.
Include the yacht name, length overall, builder, year, charter regions, current rate, central-agent or owner contact, brochure and confirmation that supplied imagery may be published. There is no entry fee.

Clear rules before you choose.
When will the 2027 Yacht Awards winners be announced?
The five 2027 category winners will be published online by Blue Ocean Club on 15 January 2027. The awards are digital and there is no ceremony, gala, venue or ticketed event.
How many yachts are nominated for the 2027 Yacht Awards?
The longlist contains 100 active charter yachts: 20 nominees in each of five size classes from 20 metres to 70 metres and above.
How does the public vote affect the winner?
Verified public voting contributes 40% of the final score in each class. The remaining 60% comes from the published editorial criteria covering charter experience, layout, amenities, design and condition, destination capability and value within class.
How many times may I vote?
Each verified email address may cast one vote in each size class. A single ballot can include one yacht in any or all five classes. Duplicate and unverified votes are excluded.
Why do I need to provide an email address?
Email verification protects the result from automated and duplicate voting. Your ballot is counted only after you use the confirmation link sent to that address.
Do I have to receive Blue Ocean Club marketing to vote?
No. Yacht Awards updates and wider Blue Ocean Club marketing are separate, optional choices. Neither box needs to be selected for a verified ballot to count, and either subscription can be withdrawn at any time.
Are live vote totals visible?
No. Blue Ocean Club does not publish a live leaderboard because visible totals can influence later voters. Invalid and duplicate ballots are removed before the final scoring audit.
Can an owner, captain or central agent nominate a yacht?
Yes. Authorised representatives may submit current specifications, charter availability, a brochure, crew information and licensed imagery while nominations are open. Entry is free and does not guarantee longlist or finalist status.
Can a yacht pay to enter or win?
No. There is no entry fee, paid longlist, sponsored score or purchased winner. Blue Ocean Club may earn a normal brokerage commission if a charter is booked, but that commercial relationship is not part of the award score.
Choose the yachts that deserve the next distinction.
Select one yacht in any or all five categories, then verify the ballot by email. Your marketing choices are optional and separate.
