SOFIA D is a Ferretti 78 with lines by Zuccon International Project. Launched in 2004 and refitted in 2022/2023, she pairs a 30-knot top speed and a 24-knot cruise with a renewed interior.
Four en-suite cabins (a full-beam master, a VIP and two twins, one with a Pullman) take up to nine guests. Meals can be served on the aft deck, on the flybridge or inside in the air-conditioned saloon.
01 · Who she suits
Families and mixed groups.
The Pullman berth in one of the twin cabins makes SOFIA D a good fit for families or mixed groups of up to nine. Every cabin is en-suite and air-conditioned.
The captain, the yacht's charter team notes, has extensive knowledge of the Greek islands.
02 · Life on board
Three places to eat and two to sunbathe.
Guests can dine al fresco on the aft deck or the flybridge, which has its own dining table and sunbathing area, or inside in the saloon. A forward sunbathing area on the bow adds a quieter spot.
A crew of four looks after the yacht and the guests, and there is air conditioning and Wi-Fi on board.
03 · The rate explained
A weekly rate plus VAT and APA.
SOFIA D's 2027 rates are weekly, in euros: EUR 31,000 in July and August, EUR 28,000 in June and September and EUR 26,000 for the rest of the season. Greek VAT of 6.5% is added, and the APA is 40% of the charter fee.
The APA (advance provisioning allowance) is paid with the charter fee and covers running costs such as fuel, food, drinks and berthing; the captain accounts for it during the charter and any balance is returned. Charters are under the MYBA Charter Agreement 2025.
04 · Why charter her
A Ferretti with a Seabob.
SOFIA D carries a Seabob and a jet ski among her toys, and her 2022/23 refit keeps the interior fresh.
Her 24-knot cruise shortens passages from Athens to the islands, leaving more time at anchor.

The interior was renovated in 2022/2023. The air-conditioned saloon has lounge seating and an indoor dining area.

SOFIA D is based in Athens. From there the Saronic Gulf islands are within a short run, and the Cyclades, including Mykonos, are within reach on a week's charter.
The yacht's charter team also lists Mykonos, Zakynthos, Lefkada and Corfu as embarkation options; embarkation and disembarkation arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
