Yacht charter in the Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands consist of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman. Cruising here involves open-water passages between islands, offering access to coral reefs, vertical drop-offs, and clear visibility. The area is suited for experienced sailors comfortable with offshore navigation and those seeking remote diving and snorkelling locations. Crewed yachts provide the necessary support for exploring these isolated sites, which are largely uninhabited outside of the main island.

Best time to charter

The charter season runs from December through May, when trade winds are consistent and rainfall is lower. December to April represents the peak period with stable weather. June through November is the hurricane season, during which tropical storms can disrupt itineraries. Winds generally blow from the east or north-east. Visitors should monitor regional forecasts closely, as sea conditions can change rapidly in the open waters between the islands.

Stake Bay

A coastal anchorage on the north side of Cayman Brac, used primarily during periods of southerly winds.
