Dražen has been a captain since 2006, amassing extensive experience in maritime operations. He owns the yacht Alfa Mario, a vessel named in honor of his father. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in shipbuilding, Dražen is part of a lineage with a longstanding tradition in the industry. His family oversees a fleet of yachts, manages a hotel, and operates a shipyard, further contributing to their prominent presence in the maritime domain. During his downtime, Dražen enjoys going for a swim and rowing. In 2020, he swam across the Brač channel between the island of Brač and his hometown, Krilo, taking him 3 hours and 20 minutes. Testimonial: We had a really great week on Alfa Mario, a super nice yacht with very comfortable and spacious cabins. The crew provided great service and was very nice and engaged—also with the small children. Food and wine were high-level, much appreciated by all, and professionally served—also including the bar-tendering—even late at night. M. K.

At 52 meters, Alfa Mario is one of the largest Croatian yachts of its type. This 16 cabin yacht can accommodate up to 32 people, hosted by 11 crew. You can enjoy the jacuzzi, sauna, and gym on deck. To enjoy a relaxed vibe, there is a big lounge bar with a piano and a well-stocked bar in the salon.
Alfa Mario carries three of the most popular recreational watercraft aboard - a jet ski, a sea bob, and an e-foil. In addition, there are two kayaks, two paddleboards, a tube and ringo ride, and water skis.

· A.P.A.: 30% of the charter price: To cover the following costs, but not limited to: fuel for tender and water sports equipment; additional fuel for cruising (above 4 h per day), food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included. A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash. If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage. A.P.A. does not include a tip for the crew.

Cruising Croatia: when to go and where to anchor
Best time
The charter season runs from May to October. July and August are the warmest and busiest months, with light to moderate Maestral winds blowing from the north-west in the afternoons. May, June, September, and October offer quieter anchorages and cooler temperatures. The Bora, a strong north-easterly wind, and the Jugo, a south-easterly wind, are more frequent outside the peak summer months, requiring careful anchorage selection.
Practical tips
- Fly into Split (SPU) or Dubrovnik (DBV). Split marinas are about 30 minutes away, Trogir is 5 to 10 minutes, and ACI Marina Dubrovnik is 30 minutes from DBV.
- Yachts must register crew and guest lists with the e-Crew system before departure, and local tourist taxes are calculated per person, per day.
- Town quays often use lazy lines rather than anchors. Harbourmasters allocate berths on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early in the afternoon during July and August.
