Jeremy (Jerry) was born and grew up in South Africa and after working as a professional lifeguard and paramedic, served as an army officer for five years, before looking to the yachting industry to fund his dream of becoming a commercial light aircraft (bush) pilot in Africa. Nearly 30 years on, he still only flies in the back of aircraft, but has 20 years of experience as a super yacht captain. His career on yachts was largely sailing yacht based, until switching to motor yachts in 2013 to experience the other side. Jerry has been involved in all aspects of the industry; from remote cruising in far flung destinations (his favourite) to the more popular cruising grounds; to refit and rebuild projects and overseeing the build of two 90+m new yachts. Along the way, he met his wife and chose to settle in Somerset in the U.K., where they live with their three children. He still loves to explore and introduce owners and guests to new and exciting cruising destinations and considers Cloudbreak the perfect yacht on which to do so.

Bradley has been fortunate enough to fulfil his passion for travel and sail in areas ranging from the Caribbean to the Arctic, deep into the heart of Russia and the Middle East. Bradley enjoys venturing into lesser-explored areas with a passion for capturing the adventure. Bradley grew up racing off-road motorbikes, mountain biking and has a keen interest in motorsport. What a yacht like CLOUDBREAK costs to own — not just to charter
A charter week on CLOUDBREAK is a fixed, all-in number. Ownership of a 75m yacht in this class is a five-year commitment — crew payroll, insurance, class and refit reserves, berthing and depreciation. Our yacht ownership vs charter vs fractional ownership study runs the real five-year cost of a €15 million yacht against the equivalent charter spend, and the most profitable yachts for owners ranking shows how much of that stack charter revenue actually recovers.
