Mel has been in the yachting industry since 1987. Mel uses his vast knowledge to provide a safe and comfortable charter experience. He also has extensive local knowledge cruising the Bahamas, American east coast from Maine to Key West and Cabo to Costa Rica.He holds a 200-ton Master and a 500-ton Mate license. Mel has an outstanding history of making sure OASIS is maintained to the highest possible standards. His friendly and outgoing personality will make you feel like you’re family the moment you step on board.

Taylor Hollandsworth

Taylor has a track record of exceeding all expectations and providing guests with memorable experiences on-board. She feels strongly and passionately about following a career in the yachting industry where she can combine her customer-service background, organizational skills, and resourcefulness in proving her value as a crew member. She is great at communicating with guests of all ages. Taylor has extensive travel experience throughout Australia, South America, Latin America and Western Europe. She can speak English and Spanish. She is eager to provide you with an unforgettable charter experience.

Ana Powell

Ana graduated from the University of New York at Geneseo with a degree in business. She speaks English, Spanish, and French. Ana has extensive experience working on yachts for the past 5 years. Her travels lead her to cruising various areas of the globe to include the Bahamas, the Galapagos Islands, the Mediterranean, the US and Caribbean. Her vast knowledge and experience will ensure your charter experience is unforgettable. Her friendly and energetic personality is a great addition to the OASIS crew.

Christopher Kelso

Christopher has been described as motivated, hardworking, and reliable. His passion for adventure and the ocean naturally brought him into the yachting industry. He went to Florida State University for Army ROTC. He is certified in First Aid and DPR, USCG 100GRT Near Costal, Basic Health Care Provider, Class G Licensed Security Officer, Crisis Management & Human Behavior, Life Boatman and VPDSD. Christopher is excited to have you on board!

David Bhattacharya

David is a classically trained chef with experience in global cuisine and was a fine dining server for many years. His passion for food, travel, surf and mountains has taken him to amazing places as far east as Thailand south to Chile and north to Alaska and almost everywhere in between.These passions for life brought him to the yachting world where he can expand his knowledge and Maritime skills while continuing to explore the world. He is a very hard working, team oriented and detail driven person.
