Captain "Frikkie" grew up in small town in the Western Cape of South Africa. Before turning his passion into yachting, Frikkie started his career as an electrician in the mining industry. As a teenager he was introduced to sailing and competed in club racing at the Royal Yacht Club. He grew up fishing with his father as a youngster, and still enjoys throwing a line to this day. His dream of becoming a yacht captain finally came a reality when he completed his Yachtmaster Ocean course in 2020 at the Two Oceans Maritime Academy in Cape Town. His maiden voyage and ocean crossing from Cape Town to the Caribbean was aboard a VOYAGE 590 which ignited his desire to captain his own yacht even more. Another accomplishment was sailing from Cape Town to Madagascar on the rough seas of the South African coast. When Frikkie's not on the water chartering, he is in the water enjoying his other hobbies, surfing, diving and wakeboarding. Frikkie has a light hearted personality and a great sense of humor. He is always quick to crack a joke and make everyone around him happy. He is incredibly passionate about his career and takes great pride in providing guests with a memorable experience whilst onboard.

Leanne, born and raised in Sydney, Australia, donned her backpack when she was 18yrs old and has been on a worldwide travel and work adventure ever since. Having completed a Hospitality Traineeship at TAFE College, Sydney in 1996, her extensive experience in the service industry has facilitated her to work in countries such as Hong Kong, England, parts of Europe and Canada, to name a few. She has been a children’s ski instructor in Austria and Australia, as well as a TEFL English teacher in Cambodia. Her love of different cultures and adventure led her to Roatan, Honduras where she completed her PADI Dive Master. In 2013, after four years in Central America she took the opportunity to assist in a boat delivery from Honduras to the BVI where her new career in the culinary world began. She has worked land based and on various vessels as both a private chef and charter chef. Since 2013, Leanne has delighted guests with flavours from around the world, keeping meals balanced and nutritious whilst including plenty of decadent options to satiate any palate. Extremely adaptable, she can accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements and guest preferences. Wholesome, comunal eating with a little finesse thrown in for good measure is her forte. Leanne looks forward to making you delicious food that matches the beauty of the surroundings.

Peak demand occurs during the festive period and regatta weeks.
