GALEON 53

GALEON 53 is a 2025 Galeon motor yacht based on the Miami River with fold-out terraces on both sides, cruising South Florida, the Keys and Nassau for up to 13 guests by day and four overnight in three staterooms.

A 2025 Galeon that opens up on both sides

GALEON 53 is a 2025-built Galeon motor yacht kept at Riverlanding on the Miami River. Her defining feature is a pair of fold-down terraces: both sides of the hull open outward and bar stools snap into place, turning the main deck into a waterside beach club. The effect is a boat that feels considerably larger than 53 feet, which is why she is a favourite for entertaining groups of up to 13.

Accommodation

Three staterooms sleep four guests — a king cabin, a queen cabin and a twin over-under cabin — served by two en-suite bathrooms. There are no separate crew quarters, so she is best suited to day charters and short overnight runs.

Deck spaces

Beyond the fold-out terraces, the yacht carries a large salon, a fully equipped galley and generous aft and bow lounging. Twin engines give her the speed to reach the Keys or Bimini comfortably inside a day.

On board

Wi-Fi, a BBQ grill, snorkelling gear for four, a floating water mat and floating toys come as standard, and jet ski rental can be arranged locally at $175 per hour. A complimentary drone photo shoot is included in the charter rate.

Cruising grounds

Summer and winter she works the Miami River, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami, the Florida Keys and Nassau in the Bahamas.

A note from your charter specialist
GALEON 53 is one of those rare yachts that feels different the moment you step aboard. The 16.15m Galeon build hits a sweet spot — big enough to feel like a private floating villa, intimate enough that the crew remembers how you take your morning coffee by day two. In East Coast United States especially, the itinerary options around her are exceptional — and the crew know every anchorage worth the detour.

Ownership economics

What a yacht like GALEON 53 costs to own — not just to charter

A charter week on GALEON 53 is a fixed, all-in number. Ownership of a 16m yacht in this class is a five-year commitment — crew payroll, insurance, class and refit reserves, berthing and depreciation. Our yacht ownership vs charter vs fractional ownership study runs the real five-year cost of a €15 million yacht against the equivalent charter spend, and the most profitable yachts for owners ranking shows how much of that stack charter revenue actually recovers.
