Best time
The charter season runs from May to October. July and August bring warm, settled weather with temperatures reaching 30°C, alongside heavy maritime traffic. May, June, and September provide pleasant temperatures, lighter crowds, and reliable breezes, often influenced by afternoon thermal winds. October is quieter with cooler evenings and an increased risk of autumn squalls or the Mistral blowing from the Rhône valley.

- Posidonia seagrass protection regulations are strictly enforced across the coast; yachts over 24 metres face specific anchoring restrictions and must use designated mooring zones.
- Local markets in Antibes and Cannes provide fresh produce, while crew can coordinate with shoreside agents for duty-free stores and specialist provisioning.
- Observe the five-knot speed limit within 300 metres of the coast, and reduce generator and water-toy noise when sharing anchorages with other vessels.
