What does a 40 m Monaco Yacht Show charter cost all-in?
A useful planning case is €220,000 base charter, €66,000 APA at 30%, €44,000 French VAT where applicable, €45,000 show-week berth or mooring, and €26,400 gratuity at 12%: approximately €401,400. The legal VAT treatment and berth cost depend on the contract, flag, itinerary and final position.
Can a charter yacht berth inside Port Hercule during the show?
Most prime berths are allocated to exhibiting yachts. Non-exhibiting charter yachts commonly use Fontvieille, Cap d’Ail, outer positions or a managed anchorage with private tender access. We confirm the operating plan before contract signature.
Is Wednesday open to every ticket holder?
Wednesday is the most restricted day, with Dockside access shaped around invitation-only and premium-pass arrangements. Access products and inclusions can change; we verify the current official terms before purchase.
Does a confirmed show yacht mean it is available to charter?
No. Attendance and charter availability are separate facts. The show fleet on this page is presented for viewing context only; any charter yacht is checked directly with its central agent for your dates.
How early should we book?
Nine to twelve months is the right planning window for the strongest Western Mediterranean yachts and any preferred berth strategy. A later brief can still work, but the solution is more likely to involve anchorage, tendering or repositioning.
