# Monaco Grand Prix Yacht Charter — How to Book the F1 Week on the Water
A Monaco Grand Prix yacht charter is the most photographed yachting moment of the year — superyachts rafted three-deep along the Quai Antoine 1er with helicopters lifting guests in and out and F1 cars screaming past on the harbour straight.
## How berthing actually works during F1 week
Port Hercule allocates berths to "T-Berth" sponsors and a small number of long-standing charter operators 12+ months in advance. **There are no walk-up berths during the Grand Prix.** The realistic options for a Monaco Grand Prix yacht charter:
1. **Charter a yacht with a confirmed Port Hercule berth.** The yacht and the berth are sold as a package. Base rate for a 50m motor yacht with Port Hercule berthing during F1 week: €500,000–€900,000 for the week.
2. **Charter a yacht that rafts alongside a berthed yacht.** Cheaper but less elegant — you cross 2–3 decks to get ashore. Base rate €250,000–€450,000.
3. **Charter a yacht anchored outside the breakwater.** Watch the racing through binoculars from your foredeck. Tender to Hercule for the parties. €150,000–€280,000.
## What's included beyond the berth
Most F1 charter packages bundle:
- **Grandstand or T-Berth grid passes** (the price varies wildly — confirm what tier).
- **Paddock Club access on race weekend** (rarely; usually a separate ticket).
- **Helicopter transfer from Nice (NCE)** — 7 minutes versus 90 by road.
- **Private chef and butler service** — F1 week aboard means hosting 20–40 lunch guests.

- **Confirm 12+ months ahead.** F1 week 2027 berths are sold by July 2026.
- **The race itself is Sunday.** Tickets for Thursday (free practice), Friday (qualifying) and Saturday matter most for serious F1 fans.
