A note from your charter specialist
I've been on board HIGH 5 more times than I can count, and she still surprises me. The 16.8m Bali Catamarans build hits a sweet spot — big enough to feel like a private floating villa, intimate enough that the crew remembers how you take your morning coffee by day two. In Caribbean especially, the itinerary options around her are exceptional — and the crew know every anchorage worth the detour.

The Crew

A professional crew of 2 dedicated to your charter. Working language: English.

Captain

Jordache Kirsten

South Africa · English

Captain Jordache brings a calm, capable, and guest-focused approach to life on the water, shaped by eight years in the maritime industry and extensive experience across both power and sailing vessels. His style is relaxed but highly attentive, combining strong seamanship, clear judgment, and an easygoing presence that helps guests feel safe, comfortable, and fully at ease from the moment they step aboard. Jordache began his maritime career skippering a 55-foot power transfer vessel, building a strong foundation in vessel handling, situational awareness, and guest service. Over the past six years, he has focused primarily on sailing catamarans, including multiple charter seasons in the Caribbean and additional experience in Mozambique, Zanzibar, Australia, Fiji, and along the South African coastline. His recent experience includes BVI charter yachts such as Bali 4.8, Bali 5.4, and Lagoon catamarans. One of Jordache's most memorable passages was a Cape Town to Sint Maarten delivery at the end of 2025, covering approximately 5,800 nautical miles via St. Helena, Brazil, Guadeloupe, and Sint Maarten. Across his career, he has logged more than 17,000 nautical miles, including deliveries between the BVI, Bahamas, Grenada, St. Vincent, Fiji, Mozambique, and South Africa. Commercially endorsed to operate sailing yachts up to 24 meters / 200GT, Jordache places safety at the center of every trip while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming onboard atmosphere. He enjoys shaping each charter around the guests — whether that means active sailing, deep snorkeling, and lesser-known anchorages, or slower days built around long lunches, quiet bays, swimming, and time to simply enjoy the water. Known for his steady leadership, warm personality, and intuitive understanding of guest preferences, Jordache creates charter experiences that feel personal, fun, and effortlessly well-run. His goal is for guests to remember the week not only for the professionalism behind it, but for the sense of freedom, ease, and enjoyment that defines a great time at sea.
