“If a client asks me for a yacht that simply gets it right, ALTAIR is usually my first call. With space for 12 guests, she works equally well for a multi-generational family week or a tighter group of friends who want every cabin to feel like a suite. Happy to walk you through a week on board personally — there are a few details that don't make it onto any spec sheet.”

He worked as a sailor, machinist, helmsman, diving master, and yacht master. With his maritime skills and cheerful smile, always in a good mood, he will ensure the trip is safe and pleasant. He is optimistic and ready for new challenges and will satisfy the guests. Duje loves the sea and motorbikes and enjoys professional diving and water sports.
Božidar Antišić
Croatia · Croatian, English
Božidar Antišić, born in 1955 in Split. By profession, he has a master’s degree in economics and is a long-haul captain. He has been gaining seafaring experience since his student days, sailing on the family ship mb Božidar. Since 1996, he has been sailing as a captain on the mb Konkordia for nautical tourism. Božidar loves the sea and boats and has devoted most of his vocation to ships and the sea. Božidar left the helm of the gulet Altair to his son Duja. As the young captain’s right hand, he will introduce you to the most beautiful destinations of the Dalmatian coast and show you all the natural beauty of our islands, rich history, and culture. He spends his free time walking and reading. However, his biggest hobby is the boat because there is always something to do on the ship.
Dušan Škarić
Croatia · Croatian, English
Dule is versatile and has many years of experience in catering. He sailed on various ships as a waiter, cooked, and worked on foreign cruise ships for several years. Full of culinary experience of different cuisines, it can satisfy every guest’s challenge. He loves Mediterranean cuisine and is known for his local specialties, especially fresh fish, crabs, and shellfish. In recent years, he has been working as a chef on yachts and gulets, and now he is joining the crew of the gulet Altair.
Katarina Nikšić
Croatia · Croatian, English, Spanish
Katarina was born and raised in Split on July 16th, 1994, and obtained her primary and high school education there. This versatile young lady proudly holds a master’s degree in acting, a massage therapy diploma, and a boat skipper certificate. She is currently studying drama therapy at the Academy of Performing Arts. Her keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and cheerful spirit make her a highly-valued team member cherished by clients and colleagues. The list of jobs the 28-year-old Katarina combines once the season is over is truly impressive: she works as a freelance actress, an assistant for children with special needs, and a drama teacher while pursuing her second master’s degree. No wonder Captain Antišić and the rest of the crew keep an eye on her and give her well-deserved recognition. In addition, she prides herself on knowing two foreign languages: English and Spanish – which comes in handy when welcoming guests on board Altair. She does yoga, plays tennis, and enjoys outdoor activities with her friends and family in her spare time.
