“BOATOX is one of those rare yachts that feels different the moment you step aboard. The 15.4m Robertson & Caine build hits a sweet spot — big enough to feel like a private floating villa, intimate enough that the crew remembers how you take your morning coffee by day two. In Caribbean especially, the itinerary options around her are exceptional — and the crew know every anchorage worth the detour.”

The Crew
A professional crew of 2 dedicated to your charter. Working language: English.

Mike Norman
South Africa · English
Your Skipper, Storyteller & Sea-Loving Host Meet Captain Mike – a lifelong sailor with saltwater in his veins and a heart full of adventure. Hailing from the wind-swept shores of South Africa, Mike has been sailing since he was just eight years old. Over the past four decades, he’s restored and captained seven keelboats, raced along the rugged coastline, and perfected the art of seafaring hospitality. Before trading paint charts for nautical charts, Mike spent 30 years running his own business in the decorative coatings industry—an experience that sharpened his eye for detail, honed his leadership, and strengthened his commitment to exceptional customer service. These days, he brings that same polish and professionalism to every charter, ensuring your experience is as smooth as the seas he navigates. Mike holds a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license, multiple endorsements, and extensive cruising and regatta experience. But beyond the certifications, it’s his calm confidence, great sense of humor, and genuine care for people that guests remember most. Whether he’s guiding you to a secret snorkel spot or sharing stories under the stars, Mike makes every moment aboard feel like part of your own unforgettable story. Oh, and did we mention he teams up with his wife to deliver an incredible South African-inspired culinary and sailing experience? Together, they’re the ultimate dream team—making sure your trip is not only safe and seamless, but also full of flavor, fun, and magic.

Debbie Normans
South Africa · English
Your Onboard Baker, Hostess & Culinary Heartbeat Step aboard and meet Debbie—our resident ray of sunshine, self-taught chef, and lifelong hostess with a passion for feeding both body and soul. Hailing from the vibrant town of Langebaan, South Africa, Debbie brings a rich blend of warmth, skill, and down-to-earth charm to every charter experience. With over 20 years of hospitality experience and a deep love for sailing, Debbie has crafted a life centered around connection, creativity, and cuisine. She’s owned and run cafés, managed catering businesses, and even baked for a castle (yes, really!). Her food is always fresh, heartfelt, and full of flavor—think South African soul food with international flair, made from scratch with love. Whether she’s whipping up sunrise pastries, preparing beachside BBQs, or setting a table you’ll never forget, Debbie’s attention to detail and guest-first mindset shine through. She’s also your friendly go-to for anything from provisioning tips to the perfect cup of tea after a day of snorkeling. Sailing side-by-side with her husband, Captain Mike, Debbie is the other half of a warm, dynamic duo that turns charters into unforgettable adventures. Together, they bring decades of sailing, stories, and shared smiles to every guest on board—inviting you not just to vacation, but to feel completely at home.
