“I've been on board CURFEW II more times than I can count, and she still surprises me. The 31.7m Mengi-Yay build hits a sweet spot — big enough to feel like a private floating villa, intimate enough that the crew remembers how you take your morning coffee by day two. Happy to walk you through a week on board personally — there are a few details that don't make it onto any spec sheet.”

Damien Craig
South Africa · English, Zulu, Afrikaans
Damien grew up in the town of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, where he attended Maritzburg College — one of the country’s most respected schools for both academics and athletics. Excelling in rugby, cricket, and water polo at competitive levels, Damien’s passion for sport and teamwork was evident from an early age. With his family owning a farm inland, he also developed a love for horses, spending much of his youth playing polo. At a crossroads between pursuing polo professionally or, as his father would say, “finding a real job,” Damien chose a different adventure that would shape the rest of his life. At the age of 18, yachting entered his world — what was meant to be a short-term experience quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. Over the years, Damien has navigated yachts across the globe, completing two full circumnavigations and visiting all seven continents, including a memorable two-month expedition in Antarctica. It’s hard to keep Damien away from the water. In his downtime, you’ll often find him wing-foiling around windy bays or exploring new coastlines. Damien now resides in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, with his wife Sam and their three beautiful daughters — Giselle, Francesca, and Willow

Roberto Rojas
Mexico · Spanish, French, English
Roberto was born in Mexico City where he has been following his passion of cooking since he was 15 years old. His drive eventually landed him a job at “Pujol” which is the best restaurant in Mexico with 3 Michelin stars. Roberto is truly a master at his trade, having trained in traditional & modern Mexican cuisine, he won a scholarship to attend a prestigious culinary school in Monaco and spent some time in the kitchens of Paris perfecting his French cuisine, He also speaks fluent French! Roberto lets his food do the talking, when he is not spoiling the people around him with the most amazing food, he loves reading and playing soccer. “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” and Roberto knows this well, let him treat you to the best Ceviche of your life made with your freshly caught fish paired with one of his family salsa recipes passed down to him by his grandmother! Robbie is also an incredible Salsa Dancer and you will often find him tearing up the dance halls of Miami’s best salsa clubs.

Morgan Wallerich
United States · English
Morgen grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from Washington State University, she went on to work as a technical recruiter for Aerospace Engineers in downtown Seattle. After a few years, Morgen grew tired of the corporate lifestyle, decided to join the yachting industry, and hasn’t looked back since! Yachting has allowed her to incorporate her love of adventure and travel with her passion for high-end service. In her free time, she loves playing tennis, skiing, and going on hikes around the Pacific Northwest. Morgen looks forward to greeting guests with a flute of champagne and a warm smile, ensuring that they will enjoy every aspect that Curfew has to offer.

Sierra Vick
United States · English
Sierra grew up in Clearwater, Florida, and began her yachting career three years ago after working as a private estate manager. Her creativity and eye for detail naturally led her into the interior side of yachting, where she enjoys creating a warm and inviting atmosphere on board. With a love for all things artistic, Sierra spends her free time making jewelry, upcycling vintage furniture, and watercoloring at the beach. A fun fact about Sierra — She’s also a longtime fan of old school R&B and hip-hop!

Ben Lawrenz
South Africa · English
From South Africa, Ben has always been happiest near nature, whether mountain or ocean. What started as a love for travel and adventure turned into a full-time career at sea, where he’s found his rhythm working on yachts and exploring new coastlines. Onboard, Ben brings an easygoing energy and a can-do attitude to every day — whether it’s running the tender, servicing generators, or making sure the decks are spotless before guests wake up. He enjoys helping guests get the most out of their time on the water and is always up for organizing a beach setup or sunset cruise. When he’s off duty, Ben’s usually outdoors — trail running, training for his next ultra-marathon, or framing some shots with a camera in hand. He’s passionate about fitness, good books, and a cup of coffee (preferably with a view of nature).

Charl Wynand Minnaar
South Africa · English
Charl grew up in Pretoria, South Africa where he rode his pet elephant named Amarula to school each day. He dominated every sport known to man and pursued a career in Humanitarian Logistics, Charls passion for logistics somehow “delivered” him in the yachting industry where he worked his way through the ranks aboard M.Y. Queen Miri and developed into an exceptional first mate! Charl is fun and full of life. He has a passion for economics, underwater darts and is currently training for an Ultra Marathon. If morning gym sessions, beach runs or summer cocktails are your thing, he will make it happen!

Christian Montagna
United States · English
Born and raised in the Northeast, Christian learned the value of hustle early, barbacking in his father’s restaurant long before legal age of employment. He spent his teenage years “optimizing” profit margins by pouring 2-liter bottles of liquor into 750s, a move that somehow led to a six-year detour in finance. After realizing his hairline wouldn’t survive another quarterly report, Christian made the “worst best decision ever” trading spreadsheets. for saltwater and joined the yachting world. When he’s not scrubbing decks or plotting his caviar empire, he’s dreaming up ways to merge fine dining and luxury yachting into one seamless experience, on both land and sea. Off duty, you’ll find him watching the Yankees lose (again) or taking long “elevated” walks in nature while convincing himself it’s for enlightenment, not cardio.
